Job Description:
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at MetaCTO, you will develop both client and server-side applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative, high-quality solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects, from MVPs to fully-fledged systems, while helping shape our development practices.
RequIrements
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
- Build, test, and deploy APIs and backend services, leveraging AWS infrastructure.
- Manage and optimize databases, primarily MySQL, to ensure performance and security.
- Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Integrate and maintain headless CMS platforms such as Strapi to support dynamic content management.
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Ensure high performance of applications and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the development cycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience, with a focus on JavaScript, React, Node.js, AWS, MySQL, and Strapi.
- Strong understanding of front-end and back-end architecture and best practices.
- Experience in building RESTful APIs and working with third-party APIs.
- Proficiency with databases, particularly MySQL, including query optimization and schema design.
- Knowledge of headless CMS frameworks like Strapi.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in a Node.js environment.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda.
- Understanding of security best practices for cloud applications.
- Experience implementing RESTful APIs in React & Node environments.
- Hands-on experience with Strapi customization and plugin development.
